Weekly Market Outlook April 13, 2014
Weekly Market Outlook:
Pfäffikon SZ – Last week, growth shares have been replaced by value stocks. This is a turn we already see for some time. The turbulence is more about ratings than the economy itself. Therefore, we do not make a fuss about the recent decline in stock prices. Investors know that the current bull market is five years old, and are becoming more nervous by this fact.
The next short trading week, the focus will be on corporate earnings and important reports on inflation and industrial production. The companies in our portfolio will also publish their figures, such as IBM. We think that IBM will report excellent results, and will announce a dividend increase later this month.
