"Jan K.E. Dwarshuis (Dutch, 1965) is founder and CEO of 1324 AG.
He started his professional career in April 1989 as back-office employee at one of the largest Dutch stock brokers, Strating Effecten N.V., now NIBC, in Amsterdam. During his time with the company, he set up the Repo-desk for fixed income and equities for NIB-Strating. He also was Statute Director of NIB-Custody N.V. with € 3.5 billion under asset management.
From 1999 onwards Jan became involved in various businesses. At that time he also was advisor to Julius Baer Nederland B.V. in Amsterdam and to NIB-Capital N.V. (now NIBC) in The Hague. From 2004 onwards he also advised and ran two family offices with long-term investment strategies.
Since 2010 he is CEO at 1324 AG, a single family office company. After establishing a hedge fund, a more value investing approach was chosen in 2018 for the family office only. In addition, an investor service has been established on an exclusive basis. In 2025, 1324 AG launched its first trading desk in WTI Crude Oil and XTI CFDs. The aim is to create a successful compounding machine over the long term."
