Weekly Market Outlook December 4, 2016

Weekly Market Outlook:
Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland – Investors are mainly focusing on the impact of the Italian referendum and the Austrian elections. Additionally, they are waiting for the interest rate decision of the ECB. The ECB’s bond purchase program will probably be extended for a half year to September 2017. Again, investors should call into question the quality of the recent increases in the equity markets. The market development is, therefore, more exciting than it seems at first. The Italian referendum will not let the euro fall apart, but it will certainly give an impetus for (even) more uncertainty in 2017.
