Weekly Market Outlook May 31, 2015

Weekly Market Outlook:
Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland – In the U.S., markets have difficulty with the reduced liquidity since the retreating movement of the Fed. In the first quarter of 2015, the GDP declined in the U.S., and, additionally, corporate earnings decreased on balance. Investors seem to realize this slowly. It is striking that the decline in the S&P 500 last Friday was accompanied by over 10% more volume than the average volume over the last three months. Furthermore, the negative development of the Dow Transport is an area of concern.

The coming week is once again all about—no matter how boring—Greece. Also, the calendar is well-filled with important economic data. The emphasis is on Friday, when we will gain insight into the development of the U.S. labor market.
