Weekly Market Outlook October 22, 2017

Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland – Investors feel extremely comfortable at tower-high valuations. A correction seems to be excluded as the economic reporting is positive. A remarkable phenomenon in the stock market unfolds slowly but surely: at strongly increased stock markets, investors think they are safe, and if blood runs through the streets, these investors forget to buy.

Apart from the quarterly figures, the coming week is about the European Central Bank’s interest rate decision. Mario Draghi would intend to halve the monthly bond buy-back program in January 2018.
