Weekly Market Outlook:
Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland – The market reaction to the move of Mario Draghi was surprising. In particular, European investors reacted furiously, while the message from Draghi just offered many positive economic perspectives. A classic short squeeze in the euro was due. Noteworthy is that our indicators did not budge. The S&P 500 even closed fractionally higher on a weekly basis.
The next week we wondered whether, ultimately, European investors can place the words of Draghi in a better context.
