Lucky Numbers
Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland – The number 13 usually cause quite a stir. Sunday, March 26, Red Bull Racing presented the RB13 at 13:13 CET to the world. With the slogan “RB13 unlucky for some” Red Bull stressed that luck must be sought on her side. The doomsayers surrounding the number 13 are served at their beck and call Monday, March 27; In Barcelona, the RB13 fell still after three rounds of tests.
Apollo 13
One of the most controversial events surrounding the number 13 was the mission of Apollo 13. The launch was on April 11, 1970, at 13:13 local time. Two days after its launch on April 13 –how else could it be– an oxygen tank blew up, making that the crew actually shipwrecked in space. It was commander Jim Lovell who neatly spoke the historic words, “Okay Houston, we’ve had a problem.” With art and acrobatics, Apollo 13 ultimately returned well back to earth on April 17, 1970.
Maya
The Mayans are probably one of the most prominent native cultures in which the number 13 is sacred and very powerful. 13 represents, according to the Mayans, the highest level of performance. Those born with the number thirteen will be able to connect and also ensure that all the details of a project are in order. So-called ‘thirteen’ people are interested in improvement and are often be paranormally gifted and clairvoyant.
According to the Mayans, also a new cycle of 13 years will start in 2017 which is accompanied by major changes. At this point, the Mayans seem to have the right on their side, given the recent (political) developments worldwide. All in all, it is not surprising that Red Bull Racing still appears at the start with the RB13. Finally, I note that Thirteen Asset Management AG will use the number 13 a little more prominently in her communications.
