Weekly Market Outlook April 24, 2016

Weekly Market Outlook:
Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland – The Bloomberg financial conditions indicator erodes since 2014 while the S&P 500 further increases. Apparently, investors are delusion themselves safe in the hands of central bankers. This divergence is not uncommon, however, the similarities to 2007 are slowly stacking. When the financial conditions further deteriorate, and the divergence continues, this clearly indicates the approach of a top in the market.

The coming week, the focus will be on Apple, for which the signs are not too rosy. Technically, the world’s largest company in terms of market value already entered a bear market based on stock market prices. “Beating estimates” does not alter this conclusion.
